Position Summary:
Provide overall System-Network Administration support with an ability to lead/guide a group of junior IT/Help desk apprentices. Provide instructive Help Desk and System Administration support to the GST headquarters and remote offices. Provide Cyber Security (InfoSec) which would include familiarity with Cyber policy/processes (logging, detection, remediation, etc.) and Cyber applications (forensics, etc.).

Primary Duties:
Network Administrator Support
• Assist and contribute to the establishment of the network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing router administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols
• Assist and monitor and analyze network performance issues, as assigned; including availability, utilization, through-put, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls, and troubleshooting network problems
• Assist with the network security by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation. Assist the Lead IT for external reviews and independent audits
• Assist the Lead IT with upgrades to the network by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements

Help Desk & General System Administration
• Act as escalation support for the Helpdesk; responsibilities include,
o Re-image and configure laptops. Maintain computers asset inventory.
o Create documentation for the Helpdesk and end-users.
o Maintain, operate the GST help desk software.
o Provide end user support including desktops, printers, wireless, and mobile devices for all GST locations. This will be done desk side or by use of remote support software.
o Installing and updating software appropriate to the HQ staff requirements.
o Software patches, upgrades password monitoring, initialization, resets, etc.
o Installing and monitoring security measures/countermeasures.
o Troubleshooting hardware and software related problems.
o Provide systems administration operations and maintenance support under limited supervision.
o Assist with GST’s IT enterprise infrastructure support under direct supervision.
Maintenance
• Assist with and contribute to the application of OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.
• Assist with periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
• Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.

Phone (Communication) Support
• Responsible for and support GST’s internal VOIP telephone system (Vonage). Perform as the initial point of contact for all phone services including vendor and accounts payable activities.
• Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of GST’s mobile phone servicing packages (Verizon). Perform as the initial point of contact for all mobile services including vendor and accounts payable activities.

Facilities Support
• Support the Facilities ticketing (bar code) system for tracking GST computer, facility equipment. Coordinate with Accounts Payable for depreciation and end-of-life criteria.

Secondary Duties:
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager and the Director of IT.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and 4-6 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications with Cyber (InfoSec) Security; White-hat Hacker, etc. highly desired.

Physical Qualification(s) Required:
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Mental Qualification(s) Required:
• Must be able to effectively communicate technical information and work status (written and verbal) accurately and reliably to project leads and manager.

Position Summary:
Provide support to the Director of Contracts and the Controller.

Primary Duties:
• Scan historical paper documents thoroughly and accurately for permanent electronic retention
• Remove staples, paper clips and other binding materials to prep documents for scanning
• Flexible weekday work hours Mon through Friday between 8am and 5pm for a maximum of 20 hours per week

Required Education:
• High school diploma

Physical Qualification(s) Required:
• Ability to learn and use scanner and scanning software
• Ability to lift 20 - 30-pound boxes
• Ability to follow instructions consistently and assign correct naming conventions to scanned documents

Position Summary:
The Cloud Financial Analyst is responsible for estimating, monitoring and auditing cloud resources to improve the operational efficiency of cloud infrastructure and recommend Cost Optimization actions.
This position is also responsible for estimating cloud infrastructure, cloud development costs and forecasting growth, while also considering third party support licensing agreements, labor costs, and financial statement impact.
You will interact regularly with the leadership, developers, architects, operations, contracting and acquisition team to take actions to optimize cloud spending and improve efficiency.

Primary Duties:
• Develop cost estimates, manage budgets and maintain spend plans
• Analyze the cloud infrastructure and provide financial updates and optimization recommendations
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure capacity and demand forecasts including day to day monitoring and tracking of cloud capacity & resource management for all services
• Coordinate with managers to log incoming cloud service demand and provide recommendations.

• Supports PPM task order efforts to ensure all contract deliverables are met.

Position Summary:
The support staff will develop technical solutions using knowledge of engineering, architectural, and program/project and financial methods and techniques ensuring accurate and reliable deliverables.

Primary Duties:
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair satellite tracking antennas and facilities equipment using a practical knowledge of engineering methods and techniques. Provides support to the satellite antenna systems, subsystems and facilities that ensure accurate, reliable transmission of weather data.
• Prepare a variety of conventional design projects including plans and specifications and cost estimates for the organization
• Prepare architectural layouts, plans and drawings, designs, specifications and cost estimates for new construction, roofing repair and replacement, and custodial maintenance and repair contract projects, and prepares completed detailed sets of drawings as required. This includes designs and specifications for utility systems such as heating, plumbing, lighting, electrical and power systems, site surveys and investigations.
• Apply and adapt engineering design guidelines, standards, precedents, and practices to meet project objectives.
• Develop work plans for installation and conducts inspections to determine conditions of facilities and equipment and advises management whether the work is acceptable, in whole or in part. Coordinate customer requirements and contract specifications prior to contract award for new construction projects to determine construction practicability; locate and point out areas of construction difficulty and determines the availability of materials.
• Apply cost savings techniques to determine the most economical methods of accomplishing the work to support the organization's mission. Review and evaluate proposals for work prepared by contractors and determines if shop drawings, samples, certificates of compliance, project plans, specifications and drawings, laboratory analyses, other submittals and technical data from contractors meet government specifications. Provide input to management on whether to approve or reject all or part of the submission or proposals.

Secondary Duties:
• Confer with government design, procurement and contractor personnel and with customers of all levels including the NOAA personnel to resolve any problems or conditions.
• Serve as a liaison between the Facilities Section and supervisors to representatives of NASA field offices, other government agencies and private organizations regarding construction and related projects.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
• High School diploma and a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. BA/BS degree in Engineering focus is desired.
• Exercise professional technical project skills, with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Meet deadlines in a highly dynamic environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of technicians, engineers, scientists, and managers.
• Assist with the Leadership and management of support personnel, as necessary.
